Asisty

Privacy policy

Who we are

Asisty (asisty.pro) is a service for licensed real-estate brokers in Israel: preparing and signing brokerage documents, keeping a client list and scheduling showings and meetings. Contact for any privacy question: alex@waxman.pro.

Data we process

The data a broker enters about their own clients (name, phone, email, property address) for documents and meetings, the documents themselves and the signatures made on them, and the broker's own account data (name, licence number, Google sign-in email). We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.

Google Calendar: what we request

Connecting Google Calendar is optional and is started by the broker with the “Connect Google Calendar” button in the profile. We ask for two permissions: (1) https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events: create, change and delete events in the broker's primary calendar, only the events Asisty itself creates for showings and meetings; (2) openid email: the address of the connected Google account, shown in the profile.

Asisty does not read, list or copy other events from your calendar and does not use calendar data for anything except showing the events it created.

What we store

The Google account email and account ID, the permissions you granted, and a refresh token. The token is stored encrypted on the server, is never sent to the browser, to clients or to other brokers, and is not written to logs. While an event is being synced, the sync queue also holds the client email you chose for the invitation, until the sync completes or you disconnect Google Calendar. Event content (type, client name, address, time) is stored in Asisty as part of the meeting and is sent to Google to create the event.

Who receives data

Google, when an event is created, changed or deleted. If the broker ticks “Send an invitation to the client's email”, the client email is added as a guest and Google sends the client an invitation from the broker's address. No other recipients: calendar data is not shared with other brokers, advertisers or data brokers.

Revoking access and deleting data

Press “Disconnect” in the Asisty profile: access is revoked at Google and the stored token is deleted. You can also remove Asisty at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Events already created stay in your calendar; delete them there if you want. To delete the rest of your data, write to alex@waxman.pro.

Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)

Asisty's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Policy: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy

In practice: data from Google Calendar is used only to provide the calendar feature the broker asked for; it is not transferred to others except as needed to provide it, not used for advertising, and not read by people except with your consent, for security or to comply with law.

Retention and security

Data is kept while the account exists. Access to stored data is limited to the owner of the account on the server side; connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Calendar tokens are encrypted at rest.
